As part of Meta's transition to the new Media Views and Media Viewers measurement framework, several legacy Facebook Page and Post metrics will be deprecated in June 2026.
β
The following metrics are currently impacted:
Post Impression Metrics
These metrics measure how many times Facebook posts were displayed to users.
Organic Post Impressions
Unique Organic Post Impressions
Paid Post Impressions
Page View Metrics
These metrics measure visits to a Facebook Page by logged-in users.
Logged In Page Views
Logged In Unique Page Views
Page Fan Growth Metrics
These metrics track the acquisition and loss of Facebook Page followers over specific time periods.
New Unique Page Fans (Last 28 Days)
New Unique Page Fans Removed (Last 28 Days)
New Unique Page Fans Removed (Last 7 Days)
What This Means
Meta will stop providing data for these legacy metrics after the deprecation takes effect. As a result:
New data will no longer be returned by Meta.
Reports, dashboards, and widgets using these metrics may stop updating or display empty values.
Recommended Action
We recommend reviewing reports that use these metrics and migrating to Meta's newer Media Views and Media Viewers metrics where applicable.
