What is Youtube?
YouTube is a free video sharing website that makes it easy to watch online videos. You can even create and upload your own videos to share with others.
How do you link your YouTube account?
Navigate to the Accounts section. Click on Link Accounts to complete the authentication and grant permissions to ReportGarden.
Once you visit the OAuth screen, accept the service agreement and click on Confirm.
The account would be synced to ReportGarden. Refer to this on how to create a report.
Metrics and Dimensions
Following is the list of metrics that are supported for YouTube Analytics reporting.

Ad Impressions | The number of times individual ads were viewed on your videos. |
Annotation Clickable Impressions | The number of annotations that appeared and could be clicked |
Annotation Clicks | The number of clicked annotations |
Annotation Click Through Rate | The ratio of annotations that viewers clicked to the total number of clickable annotation impressions |
Annotation Closable Impressions | The number of annotations that appeared and could be closed |
Annotation Close Rate | The ratio of annotations that viewers closed to the total number of annotation impressions. |
Annotation Closes | The number of closed annotations. |
Annotation Impressions | The total number of annotation impressions |
Average Time In Playlist | The average length, in seconds, of video playbacks |
Average View Duration | Estimated average minutes watched per view for the selected video and date range. |
Average View Percentage | The average percentage of a video watched during a video playback |
Card Click Rate | The click-through rate for cards, which is calculated as the ratio of card clicks to card impressions. |
Card Clicks | The number of times that cards were clicked |
Card Impressions | The number of times cards were displayed |
Card Teaser Click Rate | The click-through rate for card teasers. It is calculated as the ratio of clicks on card teasers to the total number of card teaser impressions. |
Card Teaser Clicks | The number of clicks on card teasers. Card icon clicks are attributed to the last teaser displayed to the user. |
Card Teaser Impressions | The number of times that card teasers were displayed. A video view can generate multiple teaser impressions |
Comments | The number of times that users commented on a video |
CPM | The cost an advertiser pays for 1,000 ad impressions |
Dislikes | The number of times that users indicated that they disliked a video by giving it a negative rating |
Estimated Ad Revenue | Revenue just from ads on your videos |
Estimated Minutes Watched | The number of minutes that users watched videos for the specified channel, content owner, video, or playlist. |
Estimated YouTube Premium Minutes Watched | The number of minutes that YouTube Red members watched a video |
Estimated Red Partner Revenue | The total estimated revenue earned from YouTube Red subscriptions |
Estimated Revenue | Revenue from all revenue types including channel memberships, YouTube Premium revenue, and Super Chat |
Gross Revenue | The estimated gross revenue, in USD, from all Google-sold or DoubleClick-partner-sold advertising |
Likes | The number of times that users indicated that they liked a video by giving it a positive rating |
Monetized Playbacks | The number of times your video was watched with ads. |
Playback Based CPM | The cost an advertiser pays for 1,000 video playbacks where an ad is displayed. |
Playlist Starts | The number of times that viewers initiated playback of a playlist |
YouTube Premium views | The number of times that a video was viewed by YouTube Red members |
Relative Retention Performance | A measurement that shows how well a video retains viewers during playbacks in comparison to all YouTube videos of similar length |
Shares | The number of times that users shared a video through the Share button |

Subscribers Lost | The number of times that users unsubscribed from a channel |
Videos Added To Playlists | The number of times that videos were added to any YouTube playlists |

I am not the administrator of the youtube account. Can I still link it to ReportGarden?
No, unfortunately this is a limitation from the youtube API. You can only connect your account and pull in the data if you own the Youtube account
