As we closed out the last two months of 2025, our focus was on helping you create better reports with less effort. These updates are all about making reporting faster, more consistent, and more insightful, while quietly improving reliability behind the scenes so things just work.

Below is a summary of what was released in November and December 2025, with highlights on what matters most to you.

Page and Section Templates

Ever found yourself rebuilding report pages just to add new sections or data? We’ve made that a thing of the past.

With ready-made Page and Section Templates, you can now add structured pages in just a few clicks. It’s quicker to expand reports, easier to keep everything consistent, and lets you spend more time on insights instead of setup.

Expanded Semrush SEO Dimensions and Metrics

We’ve expanded our Semrush SEO data with new dimensions and metrics that give you clearer visibility into site structure, crawl depth, and link authority. View the full list of newly added Semrush dimensions and metrics here.

Facebook Insights Metrics Update

Facebook Page Insights reporting has been updated to align with Meta’s latest metric definitions. This ensures your reports remain accurate, consistent, and reflective of how Facebook now measures page performance.

Some legacy metrics have been updated or replaced to match the current platform standards.

Facebook Ads: Total Messaging Connection Metric Added

We’ve added the Total Messaging Connection metric to Facebook Ads reporting. This gives you clearer visibility into how users are engaging through messages, helping you better understand conversation-driven performance.

SEO Search Depth

A new configurable factor called Search Depth has been introduced for SEO reporting. By default, SEO reports are limited to the top 10 search positions.

For Google-based website engines, you can now configure Search Depth in multiples of 10, up to 100, to analyze deeper keyword positions when needed. Keyword usage and billing are calculated based on the selected Search Depth.

Report Downloads

We’ve upgraded our report download experience to make it faster and more reliable. You’ll see smoother downloads, especially for larger or more detailed reports.

Improved LinkedIn Industries Mapping

We refined how LinkedIn industries are mapped in reports, resulting in more accurate and consistent demographic and performance insights.

Google Ads: Frequency Metric Comparison Fix

Frequency metrics in Google Ads now compare correctly across date ranges, making it easier to trust trends and performance changes over time.

Smoother Navigation Across the App

We fixed back-button behavior in multiple areas of the platform, making navigation more predictable and reducing unnecessary reloads.

LinkedIn Ads Key Results Metric Fix

An issue affecting the Key Results metric in LinkedIn Ads was resolved to ensure accurate reporting.

What’s Next: Smarter, AI-Driven Reporting in 2026

As we move into 2026, our focus is on reimagining how marketers interact with data, not just by adding more metrics, but by making insights easier to discover, understand, and act on.

We’re working on refreshed report themes and layouts that elevate clarity and presentation quality. Beyond design, we’re investing in AI-powered reporting experiences that can intelligently highlight trends, surface meaningful insights, and reduce the manual effort involved in building and interpreting reports.
