We are delighted to announce a game-changing enhancement designed to elevate the visual appeal of your reports! Say hello to Borders and Shadows—a stunning addition that brings sophistication and depth to your data presentations. With these features, your reports can make a powerful first impression, blending data accuracy with aesthetic brilliance.

By leveraging these customization options, you can create visually engaging reports that transform static data into a captivating visual narrative. Best of all, your customizations are exportable—allowing you to seamlessly apply your tailored themes, including borders and shadows, across all your reports for consistent, professional design.

This feature is currently available upon request. Contact us to get it enabled.

Once activated, you can explore and customize these enhancements through the 'Settings' tab within any widget.

.

Here’s a comprehensive guide explaining all the functionality.

Borders: Customize with Precision

The Borders feature empowers you to tailor each corner of a widget individually. Customize the curvature for each of the four corners — top-left, top-right, bottom-right, and bottom-left—using the dedicated input boxes.

  • A value of 0 results in sharp edges, while higher values create smoother, rounded corners.

  • For example, you can round only the top-left and top-right corners to give your widget a distinctive look.

Additionally, you can:

  • Adjust border width: Set the thickness to complement your design.

  • Choose border color: Select from a palette to align with your branding or visual preferences.

For instance, you might reduce border thickness from 4 to 2 and apply a deep red color for a bold, modern appearance.

Note: These changes are visible only after the changes are saved for a widget.

Shadows: Add Depth and Dimension

Shadows provide a 3D effect, enhancing the visual depth of widgets. You can adjust four key shadow parameters to achieve your desired look:

  1. Horizontal Offset: Defines the shadow's position on the x-axis.

  2. Vertical Offset: Adjusts its position on the y-axis.

  3. Blur Radius: Controls the softness of the shadow, adding a sleek or subtle touch.

  4. Spread Radius: Modifies the shadow’s size and spread.

To complement your design further, you can also customize the shadow color, making it a seamless fit with your theme.

Padding: Control Inner Spacing

Take control of widget content placement with the Padding feature, which allows you to adjust the inner spacing. This is especially useful for achieving symmetry and balance within widgets.

Padding options include:

  • Top, Right, Bottom, and Left sections, enabling precise control over each area.

You can combine all of these to create a visually stunning widget.

Themes: Consistency Across Reports

Borders and shadows can also be customized as part of a theme. By incorporating these settings into your theme design, you ensure a polished and uniform appearance across all your reports.
