Gauge Charts provides a visually intuitive way to monitor key performance indicators in your digital marketing report. It displays metrics such as conversion rates, click-through rates, or ad spend efficiency within a dynamic gauge, allowing you to easily assess performance against predefined limits. With customizable color ranges and a clear indication of minimum, maximum, and current values, the Gauge Chart offers a quick, at-a-glance understanding of how your metrics are performing relative to your goals. This widget is ideal for tracking progress and making informed decisions in real-time.

Let's look at a quick tutorial on how we can add a gauge chart to our report:

Step 1: Open the ReportGarden application and select the existing report where you'd like to add the gauge chart. Alternatively, if needed, you can also start by creating a new report.

For a new report:

Step 2: Locate the 'Add Widget' tab on the right pane and drag & drop the Gauge Chart widget

Step 3: Select your desired metric from the right pane, and your gauge chart is now ready!

Features:

We've incorporated several useful features into our gauge chart. Please see the list below.

  • Limit: You can set the endpoint limit of the chart, which will adjust the overall range accordingly.

  • Hide Value: This toggle allows you to show or hide the metric within the widget.

  • Chart Type: Offers the flexibility to select either the modern speedometer-style chart or the traditional gauge chart.

  • Thickness: Allows control over the arc thickness (available exclusively for the speedometer type).

  • Angle: Provides the flexibility to adjust the angular spread of the arcs to meet the requirements.

  • Limit Ranges: This allows you to customize the ranges for different sections of the arcs.

  • Colors: Offers the ability to customize colors for various elements, including range segments, metrics/data labels, the arrow (for the speedometer type), and the residual area (for the conventional type).

You've now added a stunning gauge chart to your report, further enhancing its visual appeal.
