As organization grows or undergoes structural changes, you may find the need to migrate users from one account to another. Whether it's consolidating accounts, transferring ownership, or restructuring teams, Report Garden offers a streamlined user migration process.

In this article, we will guide you through the steps to migrate users in Report Garden, ensuring a smooth transition and uninterrupted reporting workflows.

Step 1:

Log in to your Report Garden account and navigate to the user profile. Now click on teams.

Step 2:

Determine which users need to be migrated and identify the target the account they will be transferred to.

Step 3:

Review the access levels and permissions of the users being migrated. Identify any specific access restrictions or permissions that need to be transferred to the new account. Ensure that the target account has the necessary user roles and permissions configured to accommodate the migrated users. Click on "Migrate" to proceed.

While transferring the permissions , if you select "All" , this means you have given access to all the reports, dashboards, auto reports, linked accounts, clients, and invoices within this platform to the new user.

If you select "Select " option you will give access to only selected reports, dashboards and auto reports, invoices, specified linked accounts and clients need to be assigned according to the role within this platform.

By selecting the "None" option indicates, you have denied the access for the user in selected criteria .

Once the user migration is completed, verify the migrated data and ensure that the users have the correct access and permissions in the target account.
