What is Semrush?
Semrush is a popular and widely used online marketing tool designed to help businesses with their digital marketing strategies. It provides a comprehensive suite of features and capabilities for search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, content marketing, social media management, and competitive research. Semrush is currently in Beta. We will be adding more metrics and dimensions and will be updating the article constantly.
How do you link Semrush Campaigns to ReportGarden?
In order to link your Semrush accounts to ReportGarden, please follow the steps below
Navigate to ReportGarden -> Accounts.
Click on Link Account.
Click on Semrush
You will be redirected to Semrush authentication screen. Enter your credentials, and give access to ReportGarden. You will be redirected back to ReportGarden and the account will be visible in ReportGarden.
The naming in ReportGarden for accounts is as follows.
Project Name - Engine - Desktop/mobile (based on campaign configuration).

Dimensions
The following dimensions are currently available for Semrush.

Keywords Organic | It is the search terms that drive non-paid traffic to a website. |
Keywords Adwords | It is the search terms used in Google AdWords (now known as Google Ads) campaigns to drive paid traffic to website. |
Overview | Provides the overall metrics during the specified time period. |
Site Audit Errors | Site audit errors are specific issues found within a website that can hinder its search engine rankings and user experience. These errors can include broken links, duplicate content, missing meta tags, slow page speed, and other technical or structural issues that need to be addressed for optimal website performance. |
Severity | It is the level of impact or seriousness assigned to each site audit issue identified. It helps prioritize and focus on resolving the most critical issues first. SEMRUSH typically categorizes severity levels as high, medium, or low, indicating the urgency and importance of addressing each specific issue for optimal website health and performance. |
Page Groups | page groups are a feature that allows you to organize and analyze specific pages or sections of your website together. |
Measures
The following measures are available for Semrush.

Average Price | Average cost per click (CPC) advertisers are paying for a specific keyword in paid advertising campaigns. |
Searches | The estimated monthly search volume for a specific keyword or search term. It provides an indication of how often users are searching for that keyword on search engines like Google. |
Position on start | It is the ranking position of a website or webpage for a specific keyword in the results on the start date |
Position on End | It is the ranking position of a website or webpage for a specific keyword in the results on the end date |
Average Position | average ranking position of a website or webpage for a specific keyword in the results |
Position Difference | It is the change in ranking position for a specific keyword compared to a previous period. |
1 Day Position Difference | The change in ranking position for a specific keyword within a single day compared to the previous day. |
7 Day Position Difference | The change in ranking position for a specific keyword over a seven-day period compared to the previous seven days. |
30 Day Position Difference | The change in ranking position for a specific keyword over a thirty-day period compared to the previous thirty days. |
Domain Visibility | It is the overall visibility and presence of a domain (website) in search engine results. Domain visibility provides an indication of how well a website performs in terms of search engine optimization and its overall online visibility compared to competitors in the same market or industry. |
share of Voice | The percentage of total organic search traffic or paid search impressions that a particular domain or brand receives for a specific set of keywords. |
Estimated Traffic | The estimated amount of organic search traffic that a particular domain or webpage receives based on its rankings for specific keywords. |
Estimated Traffic Cost | The estimated cost that would be incurred if a website were to generate the same amount of traffic through paid advertising instead of organic search. |
Keywords Count | The total number of keywords a domain or webpage is ranking for in the search engine results. |
Visibility | The overall online visibility or presence of a domain or webpage in search engine results. |
Visibility Index Difference | The change in the visibility score of a domain or webpage compared to a previous period. |
Keywords (All) | The total number of keywords that a domain or webpage is ranking for in search engine results. |
Improved (All) | The number of keywords that have shown improvement in rankings compared to a previous period. |
Declined (All) | The number of keywords that have experienced a decline in rankings compared to a previous period. |
Difference (All) | Net change in the number of keywords for a domain or webpage compared to a previous period. |
Left (All) | Number of keywords that a domain or webpage was previously ranking for but has lost rankings and is no longer appearing in search engine results. |
Entered (All) | The number of new keywords that a domain or webpage has started ranking for compared to a previous period. |
Keywords (Top X) | The number of keywords for which a domain or webpage is ranking within the top X positions in search engine results. |
Improved (Top X) | The number of keywords that have shown improvement in rankings within the top X positions compared to a previous period. |
Declined (Top X) | The number of keywords that have experienced a decline in rankings within the top X positions compared to a previous period. |
Difference (Top X) | The net change in the number of keywords ranking within the top X positions for a domain or webpage compared to a previous period. |
Left (Top X) | The number of keywords that were previously ranking within the top X positions in search engine results but have dropped out or no longer appear in those positions compared to a previous period. |
Entered (Top X) | The number of new keywords that have entered the top three positions in search engine results compared to a previous period. |
Errors | Errors are specific issues identified within a website that can negatively impact its performance, search engine visibility, and user experience. |
Severity | It is the level of significance assigned to each identified issue during a site audit. |
